Synergy Magnet Technology Program 

​

This Program offers real world viable certifications/careers in a scaffolded build that will ensure that Synergy students may enter the work place (perhaps yours!) with applicable schools in almost any office environment.  The program begins with an introduction to the fundamentals of security and compliance and culminates in a skill level capable of associate administration of an office environment.  Students learn real world LAN support as they fare a support team for a school with more that 1500 devices and soon to be three campuses to support. Students with exceptional affinities may also receive more advanced training to be determined on an individual basis.

Synergy Vocational/Career Introduction to Microsoft Security  

(related to MS Cert: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Exam SC-900)

​

 This training prepares students to enter the world of  Microsoft cyber security careers, compliance, and identity (SCI) solutions, this certification can help you familiarize yourself with the fundamentals of SCI across cloud-based and related Microsoft services.  Concepts of Security, Compliance, and Identity

Synergy Vocational/Career Level 1 Azure Security Engineering Associate  (related to MS Cert: Azure Security Engineer Associate, exam az-500)

This will prepare students to implement security controls and threat protection, manage identity and access, and protect data, applications, and networks in cloud and hybrid environments as part of an end-to-end infrastructure

Synergy Vocational/Career Microsoft 365 Security Administrators Associate Certification

(relates to MS 365 Security Administrator, exam MS-500) 

 

This will prepare students to proactively secure Microsoft 365 enterprise and hybrid environments, implement and manage security and compliance solutions, respond to threats, enforce data governance and ascertain a specific skill set orientation with which to enter the field.

Pathway to Achievement

 

The following is a breakdown of how and in what increment students receive instruction. It is a blend of in-person instruction and web based training modules, broken down into absorbable sections to maximize student learning and mastery of skills presented.  Each certification is worth .0123 credit for each certification earned, adding to 1 credit hour. The Synergy certifications are structured into four week mini certifications in Azure technologies that build to a hirable, highly marketable career skill-set. Four quarters of IT classes gives opportunities to earn all 8 Synergy certifications and prove intermediate mastery of Microsoft Azure fundamentals and cloud storage capable of passing the MS Azure Fundamentals AZ 900 after all units are completed. Students will complete each tract at their own paces, with ability to prove highly marketable skills for almost any office environment.
